Common Practice is an open architecture collaborative established in 2016. The expertise of the participating architects is brought together in changing alliances, best suited to the task at hand. This way, the practice is able to provide a broad range of design services for projects of different scale and complexity.

Common Practice aims to address both the rational and the romantic aspects of architecture simultaneously. While creating order within the demands of function, costs, construction and sustainability, the practice acknowledges the subjective experience of tradition, beauty and atmospheres as valuable ingredients of design.
